Indonesia's head of the Directorate of Technology and Defence Industry, Brigadier-General Jan Pieter Ate, talks to Shephard Media about the procurement priorities for the country in advance of the IndoDefence exhibition in Jakarta in November 2016.

BG Pieter Ate highlights key naval, land and air programmes including submarines, armoured vehicles and fighter aircraft as well as the role of local Indonesian industry in developing domestic capabilities in partnership with international companies.
