Aero India 2021: Small gaps remain in India-US collaboration
Cooperation and partnerships between India and the US have been the buzzwords at Aero India 2021, with senior officials highlighting the close relationship between the countries.
There was much talk of how Indian procurement of US equipment and joint exercises will improve interoperability between the two armed forces — but minor cracks linger in the relationship.
For example, there is a pressing need for a close partnership between the two nations on design, said Kanta Rao, head of acquisitions in the Indian MoD.
