Poland has a requirement for a new attack helicopter to replace its ageing Mi-24 Hind fleet.

The Kruk (Raven) programme could see as many as 24-32 aircraft procured.

Contenders for the contract include: Airbus Helicopters’ Tiger HAD, Bell Helicopter’s AH-1Z Viper, Boeing’s AH-64E Apache, and TAI’s T-129 ATAK.

The OEMs chasing the contract will be seeking clarity at the MSPO exhibition this week.
