Eurosatory: X-ray vision for RCMP

ICOR Technology are developing an x-ray scanner payload with real-time image capability for the Caliber MK4 UGVs currently operated by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).

The MK4 has been designed to neutralise large threats, such as vehicle-borne IEDs, and has been in service with the RCMP for about a year and an Australian customer for six months. The new payload will be officially released in July.

‘It’s a really innovative system and allows the operator to quickly scan a suspect package or bag without needed to evacuate the area,’ said Andrew Kavalersky, VP sales and marketing at ICOR.
