EDA pursues an ambitious networked vision
The steering board of the European Defence Agency (EDA) has given the green light to oversee the development of a collective air training research project.
According to the EDA, the aim of the project is to ‘help participating Member States’ Armed Forces to step up their collaborative air training and exercise capabilities thanks to improved modelling and simulation’.
Known as Modelling and Simulation as a Service Applications for Air and Joint Exercises & Simulation (MAJES), the project aims to assist participants in developing a network that will allow participants ‘to perform training simulations for coalition operations in a distributed manner
