Polish Army CTC acquisition takes next step
The Polish Ministry of Defence has issued its RFQ for a new laser-based Tactical Engagement Simulation (TES) Combat Training Centre (CTC). Industry responses are due in October and a decision is likely to be made in early 2019.
Poland already has two TES systems. The General Tadeusz Kosciuszko Military Academy of Land Forces in Wroclaw (WSOWL) has a system that is provided by Saab Training Systems. Based on the company’s Gamer/BT46 equipment, the system integrates instrumented Leopard and CV90 armoured vehicles along with infantry weapons.
