New training facility for Russian land forces
Russian land forces will be equipped with a new target facility for the training of air defence units on prospective anti-aircraft systems, the Russian Ministry of Defence announced on 5 January.
The target complex is currently completing development, with trials set to complete shortly.
The facility is equipped with systems including guided targets, simulated cruise missiles, tactical UAVs, jet aircraft and assault helicopters for anti-aircraft training missions.
