MilSim Asia: AviationLearn delves into unmanned sector

One of the few domestic companies to exhibit at MilSim Asia 2016 in Singapore was AviationLearn, which is delving more deeply into the unmanned sector.

The company recently signed an MoU with Strat Aero in the UK, and the Unmanned Safety Institute (USI) in the US with the purpose of introducing UAV training and flight standards into Singapore as part of a tripartite alliance.

There have been no UAV incidents in Singapore to date, but there is a lot of concern over safety amongst hobbyist and commercial operators of UAVs.
