ITEC 2016: Helo gunner training goes virtual (video)

Australian company Virtual Simulation Systems is displaying its complete aircrew training system (CATS) at this year's ITEC exhibition in London.

The system is designed for rotary wing crew to practice procedures including hoist work and, in the case of the military, door gunnery.

At the show, held at the ExCel Centre, the company demonstrated CATS with a VR headset, Titan software and a replica GAU-17 weapon system.
