ITEC 2016: Netherlands to receive SUIT training systems

The Royal Netherlands Army (RNLA) will soon take delivery of two RE-liON Small Unit Immersive Trainer (SUIT) systems: one for special operations forces and the other for infantry battalions.

With a contract signed in November 2015 at the NIDV conference in Rotterdam, the first delivery is expected later this year, followed by the second system three months later.

The SUIT system provides the capability for multiple operators to train for mission-specific close-quarter battle (CQB) urban operations in a 50x50m playing field. 

Transportable in a small van and requiring two crew and one hour to set up, the scalable system enables
