BMT launches virtual warship design training course
BMT Defence and Security in Australia has launched a new e-learning tool about warship design, capabilities and requirements.
The Warships 101 e-Learning course is an attempt to plug the training gap that is needed to drive cost-effective upskilling.
The self-paced course contains more than 20 modules an can be completed in around six hours, BMT Defence and Security noted in a 20 May statement.
‘While current circumstances [with COVID-19] have disrupted many traditional processes, including our face-to-face courses and events, it has also unleashed new opportunities for us,’ said BMT global business development director Rob Teasdale.
‘This e-learning course further supports the digitisation of our traditional and more intensive five-day courses.’
