Opinion: New First Sea Lord faces new challenges
Earlier this week Adm Tony Radakin has been appointed as the new First Sea Lord of the UK Royal Navy, taking over from Adm Sir Phillip Jones on 19 June 2019. This appointment was part of a wider ‘changing of the guard’ effort in bringing in a new generation of younger officers to push through reforms in the armed forces.
