MSPO 2022: Miecznik frigate programme solidifies with two framework deals for Babcock

Babcock sealed two more contracts for the Miecznik frigate programme in Poland during MSPO 2022 on 6-9 September.
The Class Design Contract and the Transfer of Knowledge & Skills (TOKAT) framework agreement each support the further development of the Miecznik programme and the enhancement of shipbuilding capabilities in Poland to deliver the three frigates to schedule.
The Class Design contract is key to supporting the maturity of the Miecznik programme and the provision of a design documentation package to Polish Armament Group (PGZ) for submission to the classification authority.
