As delegates gather in Singapore for the upcoming IMDEX Asia exhibition, the issue of piracy and the development of anti-piracy technologies will be a strong focus of the event.

Southeast Asia has assumed the mantle as the world’s hotspot for piracy and crime at sea, with the unenviable distinction of the region accounting for more attacks than the rest of the world combined last year.
