Urals Automotive Plant presents new armoured vehicles
The Urals Automotive Plant, has presented the Taifun-U and Ural-53099 armoured vehicles at the Russia Arms Expo 2013 in Nizhny Tagil.
Taifun-U vehicles are designed to undertake tactical missions, as well as transport special cargo and tow trailer systems across all types of terrain.
The new Taifun-U model is a 6x6 modular platform that allows the further development of vehicle with different levels of protection and mobility using different axle configurations available from a set of specific modules.
Modules include command nodes and a selection of axle, and powertrains options.
