Ukraine to upgrade Pakistani tanks
A memorandum of understanding has been signed between Pakistan and Ukraine for the upgrade and support of Pakistan’s Main Battle Tank (MBT).
Ukraine’s state-owned company Ukrspecexport reported that it has signed the MoU with Pakistan’s state company Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) at the IDEAS 2016 defence exhibition in Karachi.
Valued at up to $600 million if this is converted into a firm contract or a series of contracts, it will be the biggest deal for Ukraine’s defence industry in recent years.
