UK guided shell options still open
Despite industry buzz that the British Army will soon procure guided 155mm munitions, detailed requirements for the programme are ‘still some way off’ being confirmed according to the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD).
In response to questions put forward by Shephard, a UK MoD spokesperson said that its guided shell project, known as Tactical Guided Munitions (Indirect) – TGM(I) – was still in its concept phase with the department assessing a range of options.
