UAE orders more 8x8 AMVs
Patria has confirmed that it has received an order from the UAE Armed Forces Headquarters for its 8x8 AMV armoured vehicle.
The details of the contract were not released, but Mika Kari, president of Patria’s Land Business Unit told Shephard that the new vehicles are AMVs built by their partner in Poland, Rosomak.
‘Delivery times have been agreed with customer. From Poland we are able to do quick deliveries as they have been producing vehicles all of the time, subcontractor and logistics network has been working and there was enough free capacity available,’ he said.
