Timeline pressure on Ajax armour
Testing of the prototype variants of the Ajax family of tracked armoured vehicles being built for the British Army is due to get underway imminently.
However, it looks as if there could be some stresses on the prototype delivery schedule in what is a big year for the programme.
Verification and validation (V&V) trials are expected to begin on the remaining six of seven variant vehicles with the one already started due to be completed later this year.
