Swedish Army selects Aimpoint’s red dot sights
Aimpoint has received a contract worth over $2.47 million to supply its CompM5 and Multi-Purpose Sight 3 (MPS3) red dot sights to the Swedish Army.
Powered by an AAA battery, CompM5’s optical design allows the red dot to follow the movement of the user’s eye while remaining fixed on target, eliminating any need for centering.
The Aimpoint MPS3 is a third generation, passive electronic reflex collimator sight designed for use on medium or heavy weapons on land vehicles, helicopters or fast attack boats and ships.
Lennart Ljungfelt, president, Aimpoint, said: ‘The Aimpoint red dot sights have been in operational use by the Swedish Army for many years. We are proud that the Swedish Army has once again chosen Aimpoint products. This underlines their satisfaction with Aimpoint and our products.’
