Slovakia close to Rosomak buy
A variant of the Polish-built WZM Rosomak APC is set to be bought by Slovakia.
The new vehicle will be name Scipio and will feature a new locally built turret made by Slovakian companies DMD Group and EVPU.
A letter of intent on the deal was inked on 3 July 2015 by the Slovak prime minister Robert Fico and his Polish counterpart Ewa Kopacz.
Rosomak is a Polish-built version of Patria’s AMV XC-360P) and the Slovakian variant will retain the existing body unchanged but it will be fitted with new turret called TURRA 30.
