Slovakia to buy 30 Rosomaks
The governments of Slovakia and Poland have signed a letter of intent that will see the two nations cooperate on armament.
The agreement will see Slovakia purchase 30 Rosomak multi-role armoured military vehicles in the next three years for its armed forces. They will be named locally as Scipio.
The Rosomaks will be constructed at Rosomak's Siemianowice Śląskie facility, with the company expected to receive over $31.51 million from the order.
The Rosomak 8X8 armoured personnel carrier is a Polish license-produced version of the Patria Armoured Modular Vehicle. The vehicle is built in Poland with key components sourced from Finland.
