Sisu Auto unveils new armoured vehicle
Sisu Auto has developed the Sisu GTP 4x4 modular armoured vehicle as a successor to the ageing Sisu Pasi armoured personnel carrier introduced in the 1980s.
Sisu GTP features differential locks in each wheel and an independent suspension system that boost the vehicle’s performance in off-road terrain and paved roads. It can carry up to 4,500kg of payload in off-road conditions, subject to armour levels.
Separate crew body and backbone structures allow different variants and easy maintainability. The modular structure of Sisu GTP allows operational-specific protection solutions; protection can be increased with replacement components or an additional add-on kit.
