Scout recce support vehicle completes base CDR
The Scout Specialist Vehicle (SV) specific base platform for the Protected Mobility Recce Support (PMRS) variant has passed its Critical Design Review (CDR), according to General Dynamics UK (GDUK).
A spokesperson for the company told Shephard on 30 April that the next step for base platform CDRs and subsequent final CDRs for the other SV variants ‘will be undertaken throughout 2014 and 2015’.
The company announced the PMRS milestone on 28 April and said that the CDR had taken place in March. The Common Base Platform CDR for the family of SV variants was held in 2013.
