Saab, NDMA sign Carl-Gustaf deal
Saab and the Norwegian Defence Material Agency (NDMA) have signed a framework contract for delivery of ammunition for the Carl-Gustaf man-portable weapon system, Saab announced on 12 September.
The framework contract enables Norway to place orders for live and training ammunition rounds during the period 2017-2022. The ammunition will be delivered to the Norwegian armed forces which currently operates the Carl-Gustaf in both M2 and M3 versions.
An initial order worth $8.5 million for ammunition has been placed. Deliveries will take place during the period 2017-2018.
