Rheinmetall wins ammo contract
Rheinmetall has been awarded a contract for artillery ammunition by an unnamed international customer, the company announced on 22 January.
The order covers the company’s full range of projectile variants and accompanying propelling charges. The contract is valued at €130 million ($140.36 million). Deliveries under the contract will run through to the end of 2019.
The 155mm ammunition will be manufactured and supplied by Rheinmetall Denel Munition of South Africa.
