Team Icelus gears up for UK tactical communications programme

Airbus, Fujitsu and Thales UK are working together to target opportunities across the Land Environment Tactical Communication and Information Systems (LE TacCIS) programme in the UK.
Speaking exclusively to Shephard, senior leaders from ‘Team Icelus’ described how the consortium initially plans to bid for the LE TacCIS Systems Integrator role in addition to other opportunities as they emerge.
An RfI from the MoD is expected later in 2021 with a contract award expected to follow in 2023-2024.
The MoU (signed on 9 March) preceded the MoD Defence Command Paper, published on 22 March, which outlined a desire for the armed forces
