India ploughs ahead with T-90 tanks
India is going to install a mine plough on just about every one of theT-90 MBTs in its inventory, according to a significant order placed last year for 1,512 of the devices.
Pearson Engineering revealed on 20 January that India has signed a contract for its Track-Width Mine Ploughs. These will be fitted to T-90S/SK tanks in partnership with state-owned Bharat Earthmovers Limited (BEML).
The contract was actually signed in mid-2020, as BEML revealed on 21 July that year that its portion of the contract was worth INR5.57 billion ($74.6 million). The first 100 mine ploughs will be delivered within
