Arquus bolsters production of VAB Mk 3
French company Arquus has ramped up production of its latest VAB Mk III 6x6 wheeled armoured vehicle for the export market.
Some 5,000 units of the earlier VAB were built. Most of these were in the 4x4 configuration with the largest customer being the French Army, where it is being replaced by the Griffon 6x6.
When compared to the original VAB, designed almost 50 years ago, the latest VAB Mk III APC has more volume, payload and protection.
