Poland to buy 152mm ammunition

The Polish Ministry of National Defence has released a tender to procure 152mm ammunition, with a deadline of 7 June for industry bids.
The Polish Land Forces inventory includes the Czech-made 152mm Dana wheeled self-propelled howitzer, 111 of which are in service.
A notice on the official EU tenders database shows a requirement for 1,300 rounds in 2021, with at least 200 more to follow in 2022.
The winning bidder would start work on the contract on 1 August 2021 and complete it by 30 November 2022.
