Paris Air Show: Spike LR II on target

Rafael is showcasing its next-generation of Spike missiles with the Spike LR II on display at the Paris Air Show 2017.

The fifth generation of the Spike missile variant is anticipated to be with customers by the fourth quarter of next year, Gal Papier, marketing manager at Rafael, told Shephard.

‘We are on target. The finalisation of the full-scale development is [expected] for the last quarter of 2018… Our concept is this missile will fit into any platform which [has] already [been] integrated with the Spike missile,’ Papier said.
