MSPO 2017: Rafael pushes Trophy in Eastern Europe

As Russia continues to modernise its land capabilities and pose a potential threat to the region, countries in the Eastern Europe are looking at boosting the capabilities of both existing and new land platforms.

Israeli company Rafael Advanced Defense Systems is one company eyeing Eastern Europe as a key market for vehicle upgrades, especially when it comes to boosting protection with extra armour (passive and reactive) as well active protection systems (APS).

The company has pioneered the development of the Trophy APS, a situation awareness and hard-kill automatic protection system. Trophy utilises radar sensors, powerful computer processing and effectors
