MBDA, Ferra Engineering sign MoU
MBDA and Ferra Engineering have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in support of Australia's $20 billion LAND 400 programme, the company announced on 20 September.
The MoU with Ferra Engineering is the first of a number of agreements with Australian companies expected to be completed over the coming weeks.
MBDA is positioning the MMP to arm the vehicle selected for the LAND 400 programme. The turret-mounted anti-tank guided missile features fire-and-forget and man-in-the-loop guidance and a non-LoS attack capability. It is designed to achieve a range of 4,000m and be launched from enclosed spaces.Under the MoU, if the missile is selected it will be built, maintained and evolved in Australia in order to meet Australian content goals.

MMP is the most advanced and lowest risk missile solution for Land 400 Phase 2 and we are delighted to partner with Ferra Engineering to help bring MMP’s technological and strategic benefits to Australia.’
