Lockheed advances Desert Warrior bid
The technical review of competitors for the Kuwaiti Desert Warrior upgrade programme has been completed, but a preferred provider has not yet been downselected.
A spokesperson from Lockheed Martin, one of the three bidders for the programme told Shephard that Desert Warrior is still in its competitive phase and the Kuwaiti MoD still has to make a decision.
Despite rumours that the General Dynamics-Raytheon-BAE Systems team had been selected as preferred bidder back in March, it appears that Lockheed Martin has now taken the lead.
