Industry positions for Canada's upcoming ACSV requirement
Industry is positioning for a burgeoning Canadian Army requirement that looks set to replace the service's legacy M113s, along with its 8x8 Bison fleet.
The Armoured Combat Support Vehicle (ACSV) requirement aims to deliver a protected vehicle for light and heavy armoured forces on domestic and expeditionary operations.
'We identified the ACSV programme as a programme that we're very keen to win,' said Doug Wilson-Hodge, Corporate Affairs Manager at GDLS - Canada (GDLS-C).
GDLS-C displayed a command post variant of its LAV 6.0 vehicle during this year's CANSEC exhibition in Ottawa, which it will position for the lucrative programme.
