IDEF 2019: New FNSS marine assault vehicle makes a splash
FNSS is showcasing the first prototype of the Marine Assault Vehicle, known as the ZAHA, which is being designed and developed for the Turkish navy.
The prototype is the first of 27 vehicles that will be manufactured and used on Turkey’s future Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD) Anadolu (L400) vessel. Delivery of the vehicles will begin in 2021 alongside the planned delivery of the ship.
While the company is currently under contract for 27 vehicle CEO Nail Kurt said that of course there was potential for the company to produce more if a second vessel was acquired.
