Thales is to deliver a prototype of its latest Lynx Lightweight Ground Surveillance Radar (GSR) to French forces for an evaluation programme by the end of the year, the company told Land Warfare International.
Launched at Eurosatory, Paris, on 14 June, Lynx is designed for battlefield surveillance, fire support, force protection, border and coastal surveillance and site protection fo infantry and special forces units, according to Thales Germany’s Director of Surface Radar Domain, Hans-Jochen Soelter.
