Elbit gunner's station for Bradley vehicle
Elbit Systems of America will supply the Gunner's Hand Station for the US Army's Bradley Fighting Vehicle under a $7.3 million contract announced on 5 October.
The hand station gives gunners on the Bradley vehicle the ability to accurately acquire and fire on targets. The station works in collaboration with the Commander’s Hand Station to drive the rate of movement of the Bradley turret and to initiate control signals to the turret fire control systems in the Bradley M2A3/M3A3 vehicle.
The company also provides the Commander's Hand Station and the Turret Processing Unit for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle.
The contract, awarded by the Defense Logistics Agency, is a sole-source contract with a two-year period.
