Upgrade kits for 155mm artillery rounds used in Australia are being delivered that will provide the ADF with a precision-guidance capability.
The Australian Defence Force told Shephard that the precision-guidance kits (PGKs) will be received one the US part of the programme is finished.
‘The US testing program of the PGK design has been completed and full production has commenced. The first delivery of Australian PGK is planned to occur over December 2015 – January 2016,’ the ADF spokesperson said.
