The South African armoured vehicle maker Reva has enjoyed considerable success in Thailand, and it is hoping to use it as a launchpad for further vehicle sales into Southeast Asia. To further this aim, Reva exhibited two new vehicles at Defense & Security 2019 in Bangkok.

One was the FAV (pictured), which stands for Fast Attack Vehicle. Although it looks like a Jeep J-8, the design is entirely new, according to Mike Berry, the Thai country manager for Reva.

The company describes it as ‘the ultimate special forces solution’ for mission sets such as raids, search and rescue, and reconnaissance.
