D&S 2015: Nimr debuts in Asia
Harking from Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), defence company Nimr (Arabic for ‘Tiger’) is making a major push at Defence & Security 2015 in Bangkok.
Oliver Cribben-Pearse, Nimr’s sales communication manager, told Shephard the company was making its formal debut in the Asian region. He said the company’s 4x4 and 6x6 vehicles, designed for operation in hot desert conditions in the Middle East, were equally suited to operating in hot, tropical Asian climates.
The company displayed two armoured vehicles, one an Ajban 4x4 hardtop, with the Ajban being the most popular vehicle in Nimr’s range.
