Farnborough 2016: Digital expertise key to Army 2025

The future of the British Army will focus on information technology and bringing the force into the digital age, Secretary of State for Defence Michael Fallon highlighted on 29 July.

While funding has undoubtedly increased for the next six years since the 2010 Strategic Defence and Security Review (SDSR), the secretary of state emphasised that the future army would be plugged into the ‘digital age’.
