DefExpo 2016: Nimda offers T-72 upgrade
Israeli firm Nimda is positioning itself to offer an upgrade for the Indian Army’s ageing Ajeya main battle tanks (MBT), a domestic version of the T-72M1.
At DefExpo 2016, the company highlighted its powerpack upgrade capabilities, stating that ‘the company is in the advanced stages of signing an agreement with a local company in order to move production to India’. However, Nimda did not divulge the domestic partner’s name.
