Arquus and Milrem push their UGVs fitted with long-range missiles
Arquus displayed the Drailer uncrewed ground vehicle (UGV) integrating the Akeron LP long-range missile at the Techterre technology demonstrator event ahead of trials in September.
The Czech Army has received the first prototype of a specially configured 4x4 armoured vehicle designed for ISR operations.
The vehicle, on display at IDEB 2018 in Bratislava, boasts electronic warfare capabilities with GPS and GSM jamming equipment as well as the ability to interface directly with the army’s fleet of RQ-11B Raven UAVs, receiving real-time video footage for aerial observation operations.
Delivered to the army last week this is the first sighting of the newly configured vehicle.

The Czech Republic ordered 52 CAmion Equipé d’un Système d’ARtillerie (CAESAR) self-propelled howitzers (SPHs) in 2021 and added another 10 a year later. A cancellation of the programme would impact both the army’s capabilities and local industry which is involved in the manufacture.
