Industry teams bid for Aussie CRV
Australia's Request for Tender (RfT) for the Land 400 Phase 2 programme will close in August as contenders have struggled to respond.
The initial date of 25 June has been pushed back to 6 August to allow industry more time to prepare their bids, whilst some teams have already dropped out.
The Land 400 Ph2 RfT was initially released on 19 February 2015. It is designed to provide the Australian Army with 225 Combat Reconnaissance Vehicles (CRV).
Several prominent contenders are proposing 8x8 vehicle solutions to replace the in-service Australian Light Armoured Vehicle (ASLAV) manufactured by General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS).
