Canada requests new proposals for Integrated Soldier System
Canada has initiated a fresh round of proposals for an integrated soldier system after cancelling its 2012 solicitation due to a lack of suitable offers.
A formal request for proposals (RfP) has now been issued by Public Works and Government Services Canada, on behalf of the Department of National Defence (DND), to acquire modern equipment and in-service support under the Integrated Soldier System Project (ISSP).
According to a statement issued by the Canadian government on 25 January, cancellation of the original ISSP solicitation, launched in February 2012 and closed the following June, was a procedural requirement as no compliant bids
