AUSA Global: New USSOCOM ATV contract upcoming
The US SOCOM is expected to issue a new LT ATV contract this Financial Year following negotiations with Polaris Defense.
A spokesperson from Polaris told Shephard at the AUSA Global exhibition in Huntsville, Alabama that plans for the new contract, which were announced in late-March will replace an earlier contract signed in September 2013 for the company’s MRZR vehicles.
The new contract will also be for five years and allow Polaris to continue to supply both the two-seat and four-seat variants of the vehicle.
The spokesperson said that LT ATV is the next generation of ATV that will replace earlier
