AUSA 2011: Textron receives further ASV reset award
Late last month Textron Marine And Land Systems (TMLS) was awarded a contract by the US Army’s Tank Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) to reset and repair the US Army’s M1117 Armored Security Vehicle (ASV).
‘It was really important for us to win the contract as we are the vehicle manufacturer,’ Richard Valenti, VP Business Development and Capture Management told Shephard. The contract is actually the third to be awarded by TACOM following to pilot reset contracts.
