ADEX 2013: Raytheon continues Patriot upgrade push
Raytheon is continuing to position itself for a potential upgrade of South Korea’s Patriot air defence system.
Mike Gegg, Korea Patriot programme manager, told Shephard said he expected that South Korea would opt to upgrade its systems to the Capability 3 standard, allowing it to also operate the PAC 3 missile. The upgrade would increase the radar detection capability in addition to allowing operation of the more advanced missiles.
