TechNet South 2012: USSOCOM spotlight on Joint Communications Unit

Among the organizations in the spotlight at this week’s TechNet Land Forces – South gathering in Tampa, Florida, is the Joint Communications Unit. An element of United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), the unit is composed of specially selected military communicators who receive special duty assignments within the special operations arena.

According to JCU Recruiter John Sullivan, the unit also conducts test and evaluation for special operations forces.
